Although February is the shortest month in a year, Netflix, as always, brings you a lot of great titles to watch and a lot of TV shows to binge.

At the top of our list is the second season of the brilliant, dystopian sci-fi series Altered Carbon which hits Netflix on February 27. The first season was really impressive, if also very dark and violent. It’s quite similar in tone to that of Blade Runner (which, by the way, comes to Netflix on February 1) and Neuromancer so if you haven’t seen the first season yet, we definitely recommend doing it before Season 2 drops.

Second on our list of Netflix top picks for February is Season 2 of Narcos: Mexico starring Diego Luna which comes to the platform on February 2. We’ve really enjoyed each season of both the Colombian and Mexican stories of Narcos. And while nothing can match Pablo Escobar, Luna’s Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo is a surprisingly complex drug lord.

A new Netflix Original that looks quite promising is Locke & Key, which is based on the comics by the same name. The show hits Netflix on February 7. Check out the official trailer and decide for yourselves.

Apart from Netflix Originals, there are some great movies coming to Netflix next month. The Dirty Dozen is a classic WWII film that is always worth revisiting. Other classics include Dirty Harry, Driving Miss Daisy, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Blade Runner: The Final Cut and the whole Police Academy franchise. And since this is a Leap Year, we have one extra day in February with Jerry Maguire landing on February 29.
