Amazon is getting ready for October releases luring us with a great deal of titles to stream. From kid-friendly specials to scary horrors, Amazon Prime Video is gearing up for Halloween with a slate of premieres in October.

Horror fans may be looking forward to Welcome to the Blumhouse, an anthology series of creepy movies with two double-features:

Black Box

and The Lie (Oct. 6)

as well as Evil Eye

and Nocturne (Oct. 13).

Expect tales of murder, deception and madness.

On a slightly lighter note, there’s also Truth Seekers (Oct. 30), an eight-episode comedy series from Simon Pegg and Nick Frost about part-time paranormal investigators,

and Bug Diaries Halloween Special (Oct. 2), an animated kids’ show about friendly insects.

Amazon Prime also has a lot of older scary movies coming, including 30 Days of Night, John Carpenter’s Vampires and The Grudge 3 (all Oct. 1).
