Holiday season comes in a full swing to Hulu this year with a bunch of great titles to watch and binge. Hulu is rebooting a classic mystery and has a new season of one of its best comedies in December, along with a lot of original shows and older movies.

The iconic teen detective franchise The Hardy Boys (December 4) is getting a dark and gritty reboot, along the lines of The CW’s Riverdale and Nancy Drew. Rohan Campbell and Alexander Elliot star as the crime-busting brothers who uncover menacing secrets in their small town.

Appropriately enough, Boxing Day opens with a new season of the amusing Canadian comedy Letterkenny (December 26), featuring its familiar mixture of profane wordplay, brawling and small-town life.

Another noteworthy addition to the December slate is Deutschland 89 (December 4), the third installment of the excellent East German spy series set in the 1980s

Valley Girl (December 7), a musical reboot of the ’80s teen movie; and the documentary comedy You Cannot Kill David Arquette (December 22).

The Walt Disney-controlled streaming service also has a lot of classic titles coming, including the Lord of the Rings trilogy (for one month only) and a handful of classic James Bond movies, while six Star Trek movies and the Bourne trilogy are leaving at the end of the year.
