How to watch
There are quite a few channels (both free and paid) that stream Formula 1 racing competitions online. Most of them, however, are geo-blocked and it is not possible to watch them from any location. What can a racing fan do to watch their favorite sports event without any problems? Read the quick guide below to find out how to watch Formula 1 stream no matter where you are.
Content not available in your area
If you do not happen to live in the UK and try to reach, for example, Channel 4 which streams Formula 1 races online and is available only in the UK, you will most probably get the message that this service is not available in your location. This is due to the fact that many services are limited only to geographical areas where they are available.
Smart DNS vs VPN
Basically, what needs to be done is to trick the streaming channels that the user is actually located in the area where the stream is available. There are two ways to do it – Smart DNS and VPN. Smart DNS is a service that provides access to blocked content by changing the device DNS. Unlike VPN, it does not encrypt your traffic, nor does it hide your IP address. However, it is faster and more stable than the VPN. VPN, on the other hand, offers full encryption of your traffic by creating a virtual tunnel that changes or masks your IP to make it appear that you are accessing the site from another location. In the case of Smart DNS, your traffic does not have to travel through distant server locations thus giving you better speed yet without full privacy protection which is offered with the VPN service. It does, however, give you some of the advantages that the VPN can offer, namely, unblocking services that are otherwise unavailable without the potential disadvantage of slower speeds connected with heavy VPN encryption.
Choose the best solution
While VPN solution can be very useful in accessing certain websites which are heavily guarded by local authorities and block their content due to certain political restrictions and your online privacy may be a critical issue, we believe that watching sports events is not burdened with such heavy privacy demands and Smart DNS solution seems to be a perfect choice for all those who would like to follow their passion for sports and watch their favorite events wherever they are.

Not just sports
Both Smart DNS and VPN solutions can, obviously, be used to unlock the websites and services which are otherwise unavailable for your location. Smart DNS Proxy offers opening access to a wide variety of channels that stream movies (e.g. HBO NOW, Hulu or Amazon Prime Video), news networks (e.g. NBC, CBS or FOX), general entertainment channels (e.g. PBS, ABC or BBC), numerous sports channels (e.g. beIN SPORTS, BBC Sport or ESPN), music channels (e.g. MTV, Bravo or VH1), channels for kids (e.g. PBS Kids, Disney XD or Nickelodeon) and hundreds of other channels catering for virtually every taste.
Hit the race with Smart DNS Proxy
Don’t hesitate any longer, go to Smart DNS Proxy, sign up (if you haven’t done it yet) and open access to a plethora of channels giving you hours of endless entertainment no matter if you are a movie lover, music fan or sports enthusiast.
