From Barry to Silicon Valley, HBO's shows are some of the best out there. The cable network also delivers some of the best movies, too. Let’s take a quick look at what HBO NOW has in store for September 2019.

This time around, a few HBO’s TV additions are particularly noteworthy with two acclaimed shows making their season premiere and finale: The Deuce (September 9) and A Black Lady Sketch Show (September 6). Two HBO Documentary Films titles commemorating terrorist attack on World Trade Center on September 11, the adult-oriented In the Shadow of the Towers: Stuyvesant High on 9/11 and children’s show What Happened on September 11. Both arriving to HBO on the exact day of the event anniversary – September 11.

A September slate for HBO NOW is also full of great movies that will definitely grab your attention if you feel like spending some time on the couch. Our picks of this month include:
